Brand new powerplant

Hey guys, is this a brand new engine for the FZ8? I read somewhere that is was based off the FZ1.

I saw something that that also, I will see if i can find the specs. I think its a destroked fz1 engine. lets see what we can find.

ya... all I have been able to find is that its the same block but has smaller sleaves in hte fz8, obviously bringing it down to 800cc rather then the 1000 in the fz1.

I will keep looking though.

All I know is I LOVE the bike so far from what I have seen. I wonder if it will in fact be comfortable to ride.

Does the 3 extra litres of fuel capacity on the FZ1 engine make the bike slower?
