This is my first Yamaha - currently I have a 05 Suzuki RMZ450 motocross/enduro race bike and I was on a 07 Kawasaki ninja 650r for the street. Prior to that I have had Suzuki's, Honda's and Kawasaki's... Grew up riding Hodaka's Penton's and Husky's... Some of you may not remember the Super Combat Wombat!

My first street bike was a 1982 Honda 450t Hawk (a good bike to learn on) then I bought a 2001 sv650 (which I still have & love) but with over 40,000 miles was starting to show it's age. Then came my first Yamaha, a 2007 fz6, but I had to get back to a true "naked" bike, so I picked up my current fz8. Yamaha makes some damn good bikes!!!!

Ride safe & have FUN!!!!!!

2008 r6- track bike
1995 duc 900 ss/cr- not very comfortable as daily rider but alot of fun to ride.

Mental stability notwithstanding, what differentiates the road racer from his "short track" kin does lay somewhere between the ears!!
